The Oslo Times International News Network
The Oslo Times International News Network is a non-profitable international organisation and news portal based in Norway. It is run by over 100 journalists and human rights activists from across the globe in an effort to "redefine journalism" and promote freedom of expression. It provides news as it happens, with facts which have been investigated and presented as they are, without sensationalization of its contents.
Having garnered millions of readers from across the globe in a short span of time, The Oslo Times has become a media platform for human right defenders around the world. As of 2015, The Oslo Times became one of the most read English news portals in Scandinavia. In just four years since its establishment, it has also become popular for its in depth interviews with world leaders, political activists, human rights defenders, authors, artistes and journalists alike.
== Philosophy ==
In its statement, The Oslo Times says it believes that freedom is the first step towards democracy and freedom of expression is the foundation of a sound democracy. Driven by the philosophy, it has been strengthening the freedom of expression and speaking against all forms of totalitarian, autocratic and dictatorial regimes.
